Danny & I were playing Leapfrog Memory. It’s extra tricky because to keep a pair not only do you have to find it but you also have to say it in English & Spanish. If you’ve ever played a game with Danny you know that for him loosing is never an option, never. He found the shoe pair and announced, “Shoe and…….. el Shoeo”.
I let him keep it.
Danny & Daddy were having a bedtime story on the 10 commandments when Danny offered,
“Oh, I know one of the 10 commandments - you shouldn’t ever lie especially about going pee.”
A couple weeks ago we pitched a tent and spent our entire Sunday on the beach; meals, naps, Bible stories and all.
Who says camping can’t be comfortable?
Mom, will my oatmeal make me strong and grow and give me energy?

And Mom, will my nap make me strong & grow and give me energy?
Yes, Danny.
Then Mom, can I eat 2 bowls of oatmeal and skip my nap today?
No, Danny.
So I finally got one of those babydoll shirts, the kind that everyone’s wearing. It’s green & blue and I thot it looked beachy & fun. Danny took one look at me and said, “Oh Mom, are you starting to have a baby?” - why else would I be wearing a pregnancy shirt?
“Oh Mom, that would be so great, I want a boy and a girl!”
