Danny’s been so excited to be a part of the gift giving this year. He’s had all kinds of gift ideas… “Well I’d really like to buy Auntie Cassie a nice big house but the only problem is I don’t know where the house store is.” I tried to explain the house buying process in preschool terms. But later when giving Auntie Cassie the earrings we had bought her instead Danny told her, “Cassie, I wanted to get you a different present but Mommy said we didn’t have enough money and I don’t think she knows where the store is either.”
Danny: Does Daddy know everything?
Mommy: No honey, even Daddy has lots to learn.
Danny: Yeah, that’s what I figured. But Mommy, he sure does know a lot.
We just had an adventurous weekend traveling, visiting family and attending a wedding - Congratulations Tom & Kristen! We wish we could have spent more time with everyone but it was so good to catch up. The kids had their first taxi ride, along with lots of plane, shuttle, escalator and elevator rides. While waiting for our luggage back in San Diego they found these little gold drums behind the airport Christmas tree (I promise they didn’t take them off) and had a lot of fun playing them and singing Christmas songs to the folks passing by.
