the bumpy rugged road

We did a little bit of exploring Baja yesterday. The kids loved the bumpy off-roading and we enjoyed many renditions of Danny’s “bumpy rugged road song”. If you are ever privileged to hear it you should know some history behind it. It was written in February last year by Jason, Kyle and Danny while they were taking the bumpy road short cut to the park. It is sung exclusively by boys cuz girls can’t sing it right.

Our princess received her first rose today at Costco. She was admiring the roses and smelling each one and the employee working nearby took one and gave it to her. She was so thrilled, she walked all over the store with it showing people, “Look, my rose, Carly’s rose, it’s pink”, which garnered her even more attention. Notice Danny checking out the electronics.

Danny informed us today, “You know after thinking about it I don’t want to be a fireman anymore I want to be a garbage man because they drive bigger trucks.”
